Truss
Dislocate will tour with our truss throughout Europe and Australia. Dislocate can provide truss for the rest of the world but freight often makes it cheaper to hire in each country.
Tech requirements on a pre erected structure
Minimum truss height 7m
Tech requirements if we are provided the truss to erect
Box truss PROLITE (30cmx30cm minimum) or similar
4 sticks x 3m, 4 sticks x 2m, 2 corners, 6 weights 1000kg to base truss OR it is possible to Dynabolt into a cement floor or peg into the ground if it is soft enough - this will be at the discretion of the local Council or Festival.
Dislocate will provide the turfers, guy wires, ratchets and slings to hold the truss up. N.B. This will add 50-75kgs to the freight.
Erecting the structure
An area of 20m sq. must be free of obstacles for erection. If we are using weights please see the plan for where they should be placed. It is preferable that we are there before the weights are positioned as they will be impossible to move once the truck that brings them leaves. Will provide truss plans. Will provide lighting plans for evening performances.
